Kul Varnika, Commonwealth Literature in Performance, brought some of the most powerful writing - poetry, drama, short story and the novel - from the Pacific Islands to Bangladesh, from Nigeria to the UK, and transformed it into a personal experience, both for the performer and the audience, yielding fascinating insights into the mind of the Indian performer, into the poetic mind and spirit of other lands. September 2010 Coordinated and compered “Stand Up Take Action 2010: ‘Make a Noise for the Millennium Development Goals’-A concert demanding to End Poverty Now! Organised by the United Nations and presented by Seher on Sept. 18, 2010 at the Old Fort, New Delhi January 2010 Festival Coordinator of the year long “Year of Chopin in India” for Embassy of Poland in India.Was invited on a study tour to Poland by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Poland. November – December 2009 Coordinator of Festival of India at Brazil & Mexico- toured the two countries as member of the advance team for selection of venues and local partners for forthcoming festival in the two countries. Feb 2008 Coordinated Smriti Sankalp Yatra at the Rashtrapati Bhawan –A show put up by 250 artistes for the President of India Jan-Feb 2007 Festival Consultant-Coordinator of “Octave 2007”, presented by Ministry of Culture GOI, that showcased the diverse and rich heritage of the eight states of the northeast, comprising appx. 750 artistes from different streams of art forms, ranging from folk, tribal, and traditional music and dance, to theatre and pop groups and bands that participated in this eight-day cultural extravaganza from Feb 18-25 2007 in Hyderabad.
